Overhead Conversation At The Crêpe Stand

Girl 1: (pointing at menu) "What does that mean?"
Girl 2: "It's Crêpe du jour. It means crepe of lunch. Jour means lunch."
Girl 1: "I see"
Girl 2: "Yeah, I know what that says because I'm French. Well, I'm in French class."

For the record, I wasn't making fun of the girl's poor French abilities. I am a huge advocate of people learning new languages, and I applaud her efforts.

That being said, I hate it when people show off, especially when they're wrong.
