The Lost Month

I managed to salvage my blog's archives from May 2004. Thank you Google cache!

I'm sorry to say the comments during that month were lost, so to make up for it, I encourage you all to leave more comments. Unless you're a spammer, in which case do not leave comments.

Comments

For Chris and any other people who are running a blog, I noticed more and more blog spam happening so I got two things:
1. MT-Blacklist. Basically a spam filter for your comments.

2. rename your mt-comments.cgi file to something else and change your comments button to require preview before post.

Elminated my spam problem completely. My email on the other hand...

Thanks for the advice Bryant. I'll definitely look into your suggestions. One thing I've done is close out comments to posts older than 30 days (OBR is approaching 700 entries!). If this causes problems for anyone, please let me know.
