Osaka and Kyoto
It was pouring rain when we arrived in Osaka.
A crowded mall. Osaka's known for it's shrewd businessfolk.
The number and quality of restaurants was much better than in Matsumoto.
King Kong invites you inside for some karaoke. Where's he taking that barrel?
Kyoto, east end.
One of the commercial sections along the river. The closest building is actually a Starbucks.
Part of a temple set into the hills.
Bathroom instructions at the Kyoto "guest house".
Another temple. Apparently it's OK to put Coke machines right behind a well used for ritualistic cleansing.
The entrance to a shrine.
Burning incense.
